Handcrafted from 925 sterling silver, this Miraculous medal pendant features an embossed figurine of Mother Mary, die stamp lettering, solid construction and an antique finish. In 1830 Mary spoke to St. Catherine and showed her the vision of the now-famous medal. On the front, this pendant features Mary standing on a globe with streaming light surrounding her with the words "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the backside, twelve stars surround a large "M" and cross. Below the "M" there are two flaming hearts. The left heart, circled with thorns, represents Jesus and the right heart, pierced by a sword, symbolizes Mary.
