This is a large size handmade insulated waxed canvas round bottom bag.  It is insulated with wool and designed to be used as a Growler carrier.  Of course it can be used for much more than that and it is still water resistant, but we do like to use it for picking up a good craft brew at the local brewery (and there are a lot of them here in Colorado).  Heads turn every time we walk out the door with a filled cool growler full of beverage).  As a natural insulator, wool has no equal.  Your growler will stay cool for hours!  It measures 12" high, 6.5" wide, and a bottom circumference of 21".  It is perfect for just about any gear, including cooking gear (billy can, solo stove, etc.), but we recommend a growler (not included).  It also features a para-cord drawstring closure with a spring loaded cinch, and a front pocket.  Everything is double stitched!

Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous.  This unique formula gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather and as the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina.  The patina develops with more and more use, in the same manner that leather ages and burnishes with time.

Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won’t be able to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing.  A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is needed.  Bare areas can be refinished with Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound which can help restore the wax finish.

Each round bottom bag is designed, created, and assembled in our small shop in colorful Colorado, USA. No two bags are exactly alike but all are made with great care and the intent that the item will be with you for a long time.  Slight imperfections are part of the charm.  This is a great item that will be passed down for generations.
