Official art of the 151st Kentucky Oaks, is by Louisville-based artist Tyler Robertson known for his dynamic sporting art, bold colors and palette knife techniques to incorporate classical aesthetics and symbolism that add depth and narrative to his expressive style. Robertson’s bright artwork features a horse and jockey wearing pink lilies racing silks with the historic twin spires in the background.

For 151 years this historic race has been known as "Lillie's for the Fillies" and like the Kentucky Derby, is one of the longest continually held sporting events in American history, and one of the only horse races to take place at the original site of its inception. "The Fillies Race" is on Friday the day before the Kentucky Derby and has become as much as a party as the Derby for Kentucky racing fans.
